For over 25 years WestStone has built award winning homes across Canada and the United States

Brian Regehr, Founder, President and CEO of the WestStone Group, started real estate development during the early 90’s in British Columbia’s scenic Okanagan region.  The first venture, a two-phase development of 80 multi-family homes, was so successful that he was inspired to continue with further projects.  By the late 90’s he had successfully completed some 500 homes in the Okanagan.

With innovative attention to architecture and design WestStone expanded to British Columbia in the late 90's.  In 1999 Brian completed the 203-unit River Grande Estates, an inner-city condominium project that receives accolades to this day.

During 2001, inspired by the largest residential housing market in North America, WestStone opened a division of WestStone in Phoenix, Arizona and went forward to successfully complete over 1,000 multi-family homes in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

In parallel with its expansion into the US marketplace, WestStone also commenced developments in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia.  Initially building single-family homes in the Fraser Valley, WestStone moved forward to complete many award winning multi-family and townhome developments.

In 2006 WestStone assembled a large parcel of land in Surrey, British Columbia which has now turned out to be some of the most prized development land in the Lower Mainland.  The land sits adjacent to Surrey’s new City Hall, Civic Plaza, Library and future Performing Arts Centre, the SkyTrain rapid transit system and both Simon Fraser and Kwantlen Polytechnic Universities. This new emerging City Centre is designated as British Columbia’s next great Metro Centre and has been named as the “#1 Place to Invest in British Columbia”.

WestStone is currently heavily involved in the build-out of these lands with its $1-billion, 2,500-unit West Village, a tasteful master-planned community comprising of several high-rise towers, low-rise multi-family buildings, town homes and commercial/retail units.
